I have been inspired to pursue this wonderful art of photography by friends and family. I enjoy traveling with my family to all types of destinations. Our son is our pride and joy and are blessed by God to have him in our lives.

I took my first photography class to fill in missing credits my senior year of high school. Something told me I would enjoy it. My mother and I split the cost of a fully manual film camera. From the first shutter click to my first hour in the darkroom, I was in love.
After four years of college studying communication, I realized that I never got over my first love: "the one that got away." So I attended photography school to indulge my passion and perfect my craft. Being surrounded by peers and professionals that shared my enthusiasm, I was like a kid in a candy store.
There is something so beautiful about recording an image - making a passing moment into something immortal. Photography is where I find my pure joy, whether I'm taking an infant's first pictures, commemorating a milestone in a child's growth, celebrating a senior leaving high school, or catching a bride and groom's first kiss.

My passion in life has always been photography, and I have my grandfather, "Poppy," to thank for creating this passion inside of my heart. Growing up, "Poppy" always had a camera in his hands, caputuring every little moment. I soon became fascinated with turning life's moments into a story. I am a North Carolina native, who grew up on a farm in Julian, NC.
Whether I am photographing a wedding, children playing, or pets, I love to tell a story by capturing excitement, laughter, and warm embraces shared by loved ones. My style is toward the photojournalistic side of photography. I love to capture the day or occasion as it unfolds without guiding, posing, or contriving images. There is nothing more rewarding in life than to capture moments that you and I will cherish forever!

I fell in love with snapping pictures when I was in middle school, and I've carried a camera with me ever since! I moved here from Hong Kong about 7 years ago, after I met and married my wonderful husband. We have two beautiful daughters, Katie and Nikki. I love to see how they have grown up and I always love to capture everything they do. Photography is a art, I aim to capture moments in a timeless way. I strive to capture the motion of the life around me, by using my camera in angles that capture moments so that people can look at the photos, and it brings that memory back to life.
